Can't believe my eyes! Nyanne just gracefully turned 8 mos last night! My little baby who just silently sit on my lap, now trying to reach everything with her hand. Those little feet and hand who used to be covered my mittens ans socks, are now starting to grab, step, push and walk. Since early this month, Dad brought him a wooden cot which she really likes. Last week, I was out for kitchen for a minute and came back amazed by what I saw, Nyanne standing on the side of the cot! I tried to put her down again and get in my hand my little camera (which I always keep handy for her milestones), encouraged her to do it again, and bingo! pulling herself up she was able to stand on her own! I was so surprised because she wasnt even into sitting by herself and now there she is moving to the next step. Though those white teeth are still to come, for us, she still got the brightest smile.

These are the things that Nyanne can already do when she turned 8!

Physical Aspects...

  • Eat solid food three times a day (banana and yogurt are her fave)
  • Followed a ball through crawling
  • Pulled herself up in a cot or anything solid and even stand up while leaning to dad or mum
  • Starts to sit without support
  • Throws toys all over again and giggle to someone who grabs the toy for her
  • Enjoys bath time and plays with the water
  • Likes to be almost thrown in the air
  • Loves her TV so much
  • Likes to stand next to mum or dad with just one hand support
Emotionally Attached..

  • Suddenly smile (after a teary eye) when mum and dad holds her
  • Starts crying when mum or dad leaves for work
  • Can make several facial expression like sad face, frowning, blank face etc
  • Vanity strikes early!! She loves looking at herself in the mirror which started when she was 4 mos old
  • Loves to rest on mum or dad's chest and would just look at us affectionately and go back on the same  position
  • Listens to phone on her ear

I know that as time flies, Nyanne would continuously amazed us! And I am so looking forward to that and so excited to keep an eye on every milestones!
